A Spirit Journey is a vacation... and so much more!
Spirit Journeys offers opportunities for Gay Men and Lesbians to travel and vacation together exploring the world, or to gather together in retreat environments. Whether traveling or on a retreat, our aim is to offer you a chance to "get away from it all" and at the same time to venture into the frontiers of spirit, self-awareness and personal growth.
Gay vacations or gay travel with others that carry similar intentions, provides a wonderfully deepened experience of the magical places we explore and the incredible people we meet along the way. This deepened experience increases your overall sense of enjoyment, recovery and rejuvenation; some of the reasons we take time away in the first place.
We offer four types of programs: Workshops, Retreats, Journeys, and Coaching. Our Workshops usually have specific themes, such as Tantra, and occur over a long weekend. The Retreats are typically five to seven days in length and are more eclectic in nature; combining things like Yoga, erotic exploration and healing, breathwork, sweat lodge, and a lot more. Whether held at a five star Wellness Center or in the rustic natural beauty of Belize, our retreats and workshops provide rest and relaxation, the chance to meet new people and grow new friendships, and also offer time for self-discovery and time to nourish your spirit.
Our Journeys are vacations, and much more! Without a doubt, a Spirit Journeys' gay travel adventure has all the benefits of any vacation: escape from stresses at home, playing in beautiful surroundings, making new friends, sightseeing, relaxation and rejuvenation. However, we have the additional goal of sending you home with
perhaps a new outlook on life and/or new tools to help you handle life's ups and downs.
The intention is to maximize your overall travel experience by helping you to uncover the mystery and magnificence inside of you and of the world around you. Our Journeys do this by including personal interaction with indigenous people and cultures, working with local shamans and healers, learning and practicing ancient philosophies, and much more. Meditation, Heart Circles, ceremonies and rituals, or just wandering sacred sites in silence are also a few the many things we use as means of enhancing our Journeys.
Coaching provides an opportunity for "Spirit Journeyers" to put into action the insights that may have been realized while attending a Spirit Journey. We also recognize that some people are not able to participate in our programs, yet desire support in heightening their spiritual awareness and personal growth. Spirit Journeys Coaching provides that support. Coaching brings the essence of what Spirit Journeys is all about, directly into your living room.
