LIBERATION 2010 is an LGBTQ spiritual conference dedicated to healing homophobia from within and revealing the inherent greatness of LGBTQ people everywhere. This first-of-its-kind conference is about empowering individuals, creating community and healing the world,
not by blaming it or waiting for it to change, but by changing ourselves first.
The vision for the three-day conference is to recognize being gay as a unique spiritual calling and move attendees through a process of
self discovery, acceptance and healing. The weekend includes workshops featuring LGBTQ-oriented content across a variety of topics such
as forgiveness, health and wellness, relationships, and parenting. Keynote speakers Byron Katie, Gay Hendricks, and Malidoma Somé are among the most respected spiritual teachers of our time. Their participation ensures that LIBERATION 2010 is a transformational experience for LGBTQ people, their families and friends. A program addressing topics aimed at LGBT youth (ages 16-21) also is being offered.
LIBERATION 2010 is being held in at the J.W. Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, California from April 8-11, 2010.
