A Summary of One of Our Gay Naked Yoga Retreats

Imagine the enjoyment of practicing gay naked yoga at a rural Zen Center set in a stunning natural environment.  Now imagine doing it naked and in the company of other gay men.  In this very special retreat, renowned yoga teachers Kevin Kortan and David Moreno combine their passion for yoga and erotic exploration, as they guide you into ever-deepening experiences of body, breath, Eros, and Spirit.

- Are you a man who loves to be touched by and to touch another man?
- Do you love the benefits you receive from practicing yoga – even if yoga or tantra is still new to you?
Then this is the retreat for you!

Each morning we will greet the day by embodying Eros through primarily solo practices of yoga - breath, posture, posture-flow, sensory awareness, and meditation - learning to create a dynamic balance of being energized and calm at the same time.

After lunch and some afternoon free time, we will expand our embodied erotic explorations to enjoy the touch of another man, playing in partners, trios, and group explorations.  The range of touch will span from sensual to erotic to full-bodied ecstasy.

Evenings will include starlit sessions in the natural hot springs, trance dances, Heart Circles and other rituals, tenderly bringing each day to an abundant close. There will be a great balance of structured time and free time, time to socialize and participate with the Zen community, and time to be with yourself, and nature, in silence.

All men are welcome.  All that is required is a sincere desire to learn and practice yoga at your own level, and to bring your natural curiosity, open-heartedness, and open-mindedness to the retreat.  If you are new to yoga, attending classes before joining this retreat will help prime you for this expansive and healing exploration.

About the Bodhi Manda Zen Center
The Zen Center is situated at an altitude of 6,300 feet with natural hot springs on premises. The hot spring pools are accessible twenty-four hours a day and become a wonderful gathering place for day or night soaks, conversation and pure relaxation. In the evening hours the pool are clothing optional. There are three pools ranging from cool to warm and hot with a cold rushing river nearby for refreshing dips. Participants frequently enjoy endless hours lulling in these hot springs especially at night under the heavenly New Mexico's star-studded sky.

Lodging at the Zen Center is simple, rustic, and quaint - each bedroom accommodates two to four persons with several bathrooms throughout the center. There are enough sleeping areas for everyone to spread-out and be comfortable. The Zen Center recently renovated some of the bedrooms, bath facilities, and completed a new central meditation hall. The Center follows a vegetarian diet. Feel free to learn more about the Zen Center by visiting their web site at www.bmzc.org.

Jemez Springs is located 60 miles from Albuquerque Airport. There is no public transportation from Albuquerque Airport to Jemez Springs. The Zen Center will be providing round-trip airport transfers at specific times, see below for transfer details. Jemez Springs is 1 and ½ hours drive from Santa Fe. The temperature in Northern New Mexico mid-August is delightful, days in the 80's and nights in the 50-60's, making this an ideal time of year for our retreat.

You can find specific gay retreats, journey or workshop on our Calendar of All Events and you can learn more about our mission on the About Us page.
